Our Story

In January 2009, Clare Cotter created Call on Clare in response to her own personal experience.

Basic in-home care was available from many sources, yet there was no effective help in times when medical knowledge, nursing training and professional care would enable clearer communication to make life easier.

Times like organising and attending stressful events such as specialist medical appointments or day surgery.

As families and friends, we do our best to support them in their lives – particularly those experiencing ill health, infirmity or disability.

Yet there are times when the demands of transport, medical appointments, hospital admissions and discharges become impossible for families to meet alone. You need someone you can trust.

Extensive Service Area

Our service is available throughout Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, as far southwest as Geelong, and as far south as the Mornington Peninsula.

Our Team

All of our staff are qualified hand-picked Nurses and Carers who show love for their profession and compassion for their clients. Many have held senior roles as trainers, managers and directors.

They have the expertise to understand physical needs, communicate/negotiate effectively with medical personnel and provide accurate, comprehensive follow-up information if required.

We take every measure to ensure we hire only the most appropriate people to keep our clients safe and well.

We’re the only organisation of our kind to interview prospective staff in their homes.

While you can imagine this is confronting for some, you can rest assured it shows all parties up front just how serious we are about flawless service.
